Prepare (or buy) 0.9% Normal Saline
Instructions: How to Make Normal Saline (0.9%)
- Using a 16oz glass jar, fill with purified water. Do not use tap water. I have a Big Berkey Water Filter and filter my home’s tap water. You can also use distilled water or spring water.
- Use a stainless steel measuring spoon, measure 5 grams ( ~1 tsp) Real Salt, Himalayan Salt or Celtic Salt .
- Add salt to 16oz of purified water.
- Stir to dissolve.
- Yes, you can use 0.9% Sterile Normal Saline that you purchase, but your cost goes up and I wouldn’t buy saline on Amazon. All it takes is 1 tsp of Real Salt to make your own 16oz jar.

How to Prepare 0.1% Hydrogen Peroxide Solution for the Nebulizer
Using 12% Hydrogen Peroxide
- To prepare a 0.1% solution, add 3/4 tsp of 12% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide to the 16oz jar of Normal Saline prepared above.
- Label the jar. It will last a long, long time if you keep it refrigerated.
- You may want to transfer the solution to a glass dropper bottle.
Using 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
- To prepare a 0.1% solution, add 4 teaspoons of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to 16 ounces of normal saline prepared above.
- Label the jar. It will last a long, long time if you keep it refrigerated.
- You may want to transfer the solution to a glass dropper bottle.
Set up Nebulizer
Set up the Nebulizer According to Directions
- Connect tubing to Nebulizer.
- Open Nebulizer container.
- Add 1/2 tsp (or 1 – 2 droppers) of the hydrogen peroxide/saline solution prepared above to the Nebulizer.
- Using the mask (not the mouthpiece), breathe in the nebulized hydrogen peroxide.
How Long to Nebulize
Treatment Times
Are you sick? Treat every hour until you are better. Within the first day you should feel better. Decrease to every four to six hours. ~Dr. Mercola.

Once you feel better, reduce the nebulizer treatments to every four to six hours and continue for several days after you feel completely well

Options
Option – Add Lugol’s Iodine to Diluted Peroxide when nebulizing
Adding Lugol’s Iodine along with the diluted hydrogen peroxide gives better results.
- If using Lugol’s Iodine, add it to the nebulizer container with 1/2 tsp of the hydrogen peroxide/saline solution prepared above to the Nebulizer.
- Add 2 drops of 2% Lugol’s or 1 drop of 5% Lugol’s Iodine.
- Using the mask (not the mouthpiece), breathe in the nebulized hydrogen peroxide.
Dr. David Brownstein has administered nebulized peroxide with Lugol’s Iodine as an early intervention and has hundreds of patients experiencing amazing results (see his video here). Dr. Brownstein recommends adding 1 drop of 5% Lugol’s Iodine (6.25mg of iodine) but if you only can get 2% Lugol’s Iodine, use 2 drops of 2% Lugol’s in the nebulizer along with the diluted hydrogen peroxide in the protocol above.
Option: Nebulize Colloidal Silver alone (without the diluted hydrogen peroxide)
Nebulizing Colloidal Silver
In a separate nebulizing session, add non-diluted colloidal silver to the 2ml mark. Nebulize 5-7 minutes, 3 to 5 times a day for respiratory conditions. I prefer Sovereign Silver.

Study: Nebulized Colloidal Silver Worked when Antibiotics failed
This study is fascinating, and worth a quick look. A twelve year old boy with Cystic Fibrosis had many lung infections and adverse conditions. For years the child suffered with asthma, wheezing, and deterioration of pulmonary status.
