Could meat hoarding begin?

Maybe, but most people have limited freezer space. Yesterday, Costco in Brentwood, TN was out of fresh chicken, pork, ground beef, and many other cuts that they typically carry.

Tyson Foods warned of a “vulnerable” supply chain. The problem is with the way commercial operations operate. Meat processing plants are not fully operational because of the coronavirus. Smithfield Foods closed packing plants in MO, SD, and WI. Meat plants in IL, PA and Canada have closed. (Reuters)

Ideally, since this is a problem for commercial operations (Big Ag), get to your farmers market, look for local sources or

try purchasing on-line.
