Fudgy Grain-Free Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare an 8×8 glass baking dish with two strips of parchment paper that cover the bottom and go up the sides.
  3. Melt butter, sugar and cacao over hot water (I put the ingredients in a 2c pyrex measuring cup and put the pyrex in a small pan of water) or melt slowly in the microwave. Cool.
  4. Whisk eggs and add to the cooled chocolate mixture.
  5. Stir in salt and almond flour.
  6. Bake 20 minutes, until a pick comes out clean.
  7. It is best to be slightly underdone, so check at 15 minutes.
