How to Make an Anti-Aging Mocha
I love to make an anti-aging mocha using collagen powder. Unlike gelatin, hydrolyzed collagen is soluble in cold liquids as well as hot.
Collagen – short chain amino acids naturally derived from pasture-raised collagen protein.
Collagen Mocha Recipe
Fresh brewed coffee or DandyBlend, about 10 oz
1 Tbs organic raw cacao powder
3-5 drops Sweetleaf Stevia
1/4 cup Native Forest Coconut Milk
Scoop of Collagen
Unlike gelatin, hydrolyzed collagen is soluble in cold liquids as well as hot.
Collagen contains the same amino acids as gelatin which are identical to the protein found in skin, nails, hair, bones, cartilage, and joints.
Benefits of Collagen
The use of collagen may have many benefits that can improve the overall health and appearance of your skin, nails and hair.
There is not a magical fountain of youth – let’s just stick to the science and research involving the beauty benefits of collagen protein.
Some might say that collagen’s “claim to fame,” began after studies showed the anti-aging properties that collagen peptides, or hydrolyzed collagen, may have.
Collagen is a fibrous, supportive protein that is naturally produced in your body, but as the aging process naturally occurs, collagen production decreases, which may result in visible signs of aging such as sagging skin, fine lines or wrinkles.
Although collagen protein is not an overnight fix, studies have shown that taking collagen supplements regularly, can show signs of improved skin within four weeks and even diminish the appearance of wrinkles within 8 weeks.
